We had a wonderful time yesterday at New Salem in Petersburg, IL. Even though it was 1.5 hours away it didn’t seem like it. The drive was nice, no real traffic and the ladies visited with each other. The weather was perfect and there was handful of trees that the leaves had changed colors. I want to make a shout out to these ladies Terri Green, Betty Hienrich, Kathy Lantz and Dawn Mozingo I enjoyed the day with you all. If you are in the area, I believe that I am speaking for all of us stop at MOM & POP for lunch. Open 11am to 2pm we highly recommend them. Thank you to the nice woman at the visitor center for recommending the restaurant and for your help.
