DeWitt County TRIAD will be sponsoring a Senior Academy in August  2016 to focus on financial and personal safety for residents over 50.  The free program will include presentation on scams, personal safety,  home safety, Alzheimer’s awareness, and advanced planning for  seniors.

State and local Authorities will give presentations on each of these topics at the Outreach building during three days in August.  The academy will meet from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm on August 9h, 16th and 23h.  Refreshments will be provided by TRIAD.  Those that attend all 3 sessions will be eligible for a Senior Academy graduation certificate.  There will also be daily door prizes.

Space is limited and advanced registration is encouraged.  To register, please call Farmer City Outreach at 309-928-9400.  Transportation assistance may be available upon request.
